Compassion of Christ Mission Foundation

The Compassion of Christ Mission Foundation (CCMF)
is a non-profit Christian organization.  It has begun with a heart,
burden and concern for health problems, educational needs,
well being, and life quality of the children and the poor in various areas
of our Thai society.  The foundation has begun its operation since 1986,
firstly in the form of a mobile clinic ministry. The ministry has been expanding
to the present time into various aspects of development and helps.
It has brought to the poor, the less-fortunate and the children at risk
( regardless of race, religion and sect) residing in remote and undeveloped areas ,
a sense of well being, life quality, support and sharing from the fortunate ones.
Christ’s love and compassion have wonderfully touched and changed lives.
Human’s dignity and values have been restored!

The CCMF was registered with the Ministry of Interior on 10 October 2000,
with the sequence no: KorThor.961

Medical Mobile Clinic : The Foundation’s First Mission

The Foundation’s first mission resulted from the passion of
Reverend Dr. Wirachai Kowae who has a great concern for the sick,
poor or less-fortunate, both in the slum and undeveloped areas.
The mobile clinic has cooperated with local agencies, both private and
government sectors, and together with volunteers.  We have granted
general medical treatments including tooth and mouth health examination,
tooth extraction, scaling, ophthalmopathy examination and treatment,
pterygium and cataract removals and lens implants, together with
the provision of basic consumer goods to the needy.  These services are
rendered for free. The clinic was registered as a Healthcare Center with
the Ministry of Public Health on 20 June 1988 and has been in operation
since then (approximately for 18 years, totaling 206 projects in 257 areas,
and with 136,786 people served).

The mobile clinic’s activities scheduled in the year 2006:
6 projects in 12 targeted areas.

Ministry to the Disabled

A portion of the Thai population has disability problems: visually-impaired,
hearing and/or speaking disabilities, unable to move one (or more) part(s)
of the body, etc.  However, the disabled could compensate these
disabilities with various special skills. This ministry aims at helping
in daily living and providing them with education including giving them
moral and material support, thus creating good attitude and self confidence.
It also aims at giving them an access to vocational training,
and providing them with lodging and materials in maintaining life.
This prevents the disabled from being a burden to society.

General Social Welfare

To give support to the less-fortunate (individual and/or family), victims
of natural or human disasters in the aspect of vocation, education, and basic
